Sept. 2, 2012 ~ Sunday

We knew there was going to be a sheep drive celebration while we were in Reed Point, MT.  Reed Point is a VERY SMALL town so I guess the celebration is an EVENT for this area.  We enjoyed the little parade, walking among the venders and we even bought a small wall hanging from a lady who made it herself.

OH MY GOSH....this started life as a vanilla ice-cream bar; it was  dipped in melted chocolate and then rolled in nuts.  I can't even tell you how good it WAS!

After the parade, we went back to the RV (about half a block away) to wait in cool comfort for the running of the sheep down the street.  I thought it was at 4:30....Judy knew it was 4:00 but time got away from her.  At 4:10, I said we should probably go back....we got back at 4:15 and people were leaving....the sheep had ran by and the only thing left in the street was sheep poop.  If I hadn't seen the sheep run in AZ, I would have been really disappointed.  This must have been a very small herd of sheep....there were there and gone again in a flash!

Oh well, the ice-cream was awesome!
