(Today is 9-11 & WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN!)
We spent 6 nights in Blackhawk, SD which is just west of Rapid City.
We had some "exotic" neighbors. Two beautiful Borzoi dogs and their owners, who were just normal people and not exotic at all, but, VERY NICE!
We took OUR dogs and drove through the Badlands. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was BEAUTIFUL! We stopped at Wall Drugstore in Wall, SD for lunch-to-go and decided to spend a night there so we could see the town while leaving the dogs in the RV with the AC on.
One side of the road can look like the surface of the moon and the other is grassland......it's weird!
This picture doesn't do the colors justice! They are breathtaking!
